I am beyond excited to announce that last month, I was fortunate enough to finally upgrade to a new camera. The difference is almost incomparable and I am absolutely ecstatic to share these photos today!
Amanda and Austin are originally from Kokomo, though they now reside in Lafayette. We were playing around with some ideas for their session and Amanda had made these adorable pink and teal props to match their wedding day. And in the change of season this year I noticed that all the ice-cream shops are officially open again, so it made for the perfect opportunity to celebrate a springy session with a trip to Crazy J’s Ice-cream shop in Downtown Kokomo.
The owner’s of Crazy J’s were incredibly friendly and hospitable.
The husband and wife team happily allowed us to take some pictures inside their adorable shop and even made us a custom root beer float with the vintage ice-cream dish that we had brought along. And upon leaving, they wished Amanda and Austin the best on their new journey together, and gave them the ice cream float on the house! I’d recommend anyone looking for a family friendly treat, to pay a visit to Crazy J’s.
It was probably some of the most fun that I’ve had during an engagement session and I’m so happy that I was able to get know Amanda and Austin better before their wedding day in November. I can’t wait to see them walk down the aisle together as newlyweds!!! Thanks for spending your Saturday with me A & A! Check out their adorable engagement below:
